Providing a high-quality education for all children is critical to Florida’s future. Florida’s economic success depends on providing every child with an education that will enable them to succeed.

I have four children in Orange County public schools and I’m committed to providing every child access to a comprehensive education that includes quality instruction, support for educational professionals, and parental involvement.

TRANSPARENT AND ACCOUNTABLE GOVERNMENT

I’m not a professional politician so I’m not afraid to challenge the establishment and do what’s right for you. I’m committed to people not politics and that’s not going to change when you send me to Tallahassee.

Elected leaders should be held to the highest standards and be open, transparent, and accountable. I’m committed to fight the culture of corruption that has infected Tallahassee and beat back the special interests that have hijacked the state legislature.

CLEAN ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT

We must develop and implement policies to move Florida forward to a clean, renewable energy future. Florida is missing opportunities to grow the state’s economy and create jobs. As the “Sunshine State,” Florida should be leading the way in developing solar and other clean energy technologies.

I’m committed to protecting our precious coastlines, preserving land, promoting smart growth management, restoring the Everglades, and protecting our water supply.
